The Parador de Ronda is located in the city’s historic centre, in privileged position, close to the emblematic Puente Nuevo and the Plaza de Toros.
On the banks of the famous “Tajo” river, about one hundred metres deep, and the bridge built in 1761 by Martin Adehuela, the hotel is located close to the Municipal building of the Old City with a unique view of the valleys where the Guadalevìn river runs.
The Parador has a scenic pool, beautiful and comfortable rooms. The blue, green, yellow and red fabrics decorate the couches and curtains. Some of the apartments come with a private terrace, with most of them with a breathtaking view of the bridge and Guadalevìn gorge.
Ronda, a small charming city with its Arab streets, the church of Santa Marìa la Mayor and the famous Arena, is also an ideal starting point to visit the vineyards or the white towns of Andalusia – the “Pueblos Blancos” the white-washed houses – or to explore the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Parks, or Sierra de las Nieves (20 km), or admire the rupestrian paintings of the Pileta cave (14 km).
The Parador offers an excellent Andalusian style cuisine, with: Partridge stews, roast kid, Ronda style hare, almond soup, the "ajoblanco" (cold soup made with almonds and garlic) and "salmorejo" (cold vegetable cream), not to mention the "yemas de Ronda" (small pastries with egg yolk), pancakes with honey and cheese with almonds.
